Training Do we need a new training base?

I have occasionally heard talk that our training facilities at Moore Park are below the standard of some other clubs in the league. I can't cite sources off the top of my head, but i'm pretty sure it's been said in the media once or twice.

So that raises the question, do we need a new training base? If so, given the lack of space in the eastern suburbs, where?

Would it help with some of the other issues we've had in the last few years? Or is it just some (very expensive) icing to attract talent?

Moore Park is not suitable given the amount of shared public land

It is an article from earlier this year but it was in regards to us finding a new training base.

*Personally* i'd like to see Rupert booted out of the Old Showgrounds. They'd be more than enough room then for the Swans, the cricketers, and probably the soccer team whatever their name is...

Think the issue is a lack of space around the SCG

But when they looked at alternatives (e.g. Henson Park) they are either too far away or too shit

Isn't there an AFL facility being built down towards Maroubra with Swans input? I vaguely recall it being mentioned to me or seeing an article about it.
