Good fun, went between 70-75 for my 3 races. But I'm not in the best position to be typing atm.

True does vary
mine varies between about 75-105, similar to you

Yeah, I learnt to type on a typewriter in year 10 back in 1987.

Not a nerd, honest, but my typing might fairly be said to be of a level associated with demi-gods, get up around the 120 wpm level on tests, which I understand is verging on meeting the international law definition of a weapon of mass destruction.

Did a couple of years of proper training at school, then smashed MSN for several years, also I have oddly proportioned fingers (mock me you fools) thanks to the genetic heritage of a few serious concert pianists in the family.


I guess i could be making the big bucks hammering out Rachmaninov on a grand piano, instead I am able to rapidly produce lightning, hilarious, insightful, occasionally poignant posts for your reading pleasure.

I went with no, I can to some extent but dont ask me to type a paragraph without looking at all.

I had a typing trainer when I was a kid, but I generall use a mixture (or lets say my own composition ) in typing. I type mostly with my middle fingers, and use my ring or my small fingers for far out keys. I can still type at a decent speed, not as fast who ever learnt to do it properly but surely fast enough .

I can type the same speed on english (uk) as on German keyboards, only when I use a very rare key I sometimes have to look on the English keyboard, apart from that I am fluent on both.
