Dockerland have a petition going to save CC......

Whilst I truely respect all fans to the right to express their opinions, is it wrong of me to think that it's just plain crazy to for us to keep accepting mediocrity in results, and retain CC:confused:. Whether you like it or not, the failure of this season, the failure of 04 & 05 - the responcibilty ultimately lies with CC. Sure things havent all gone our way, weve lacked a modicum of luck, injuries, suspensions, whatever.. there must be a point where enough is enough...?
Are some sections of the Purple Horde afraid of change??
Are there really people who don't see something is just not right with how things in reality with our teams overall performance??
Are there honestly fans of Fremantle who'd prefer things stay the same???
We all agree CC is a top bloke who bleeds purple and try's his hardest. He wears alot of shit for the club - no doubt, however dont we deserve as paying members and all casual fans someone who can lead us to that premiership glory?

dockerland.com can express their pro-CC views for all I care, it's just that it's not going to change my stance nor many other's stance on the coaches situation.

The buck ultimately stops with CC, although I would feel for him when he leaves.

The club needs to have the balls to make changes if things aren't working. This includes a change in minds in the coaching box as well as player changes. Which I believe is neccesary for the club.

The problems with the players in terms of laziness, ill discipline, softness, lack of skill and inability to carry out the game plans ultimately rest with the coaching staff.

Yes the passion and loyalty CC has had with Freo is second to none (which is why I would feel for him when he leaves), but IMO he hasn't got it in him to take the side to being a consistently good side and to the next level.

It was a topic started by someone not affiliated with the site from what I can see. I don't see it as being any different to the CC must be sacked now topics we have seen on any other board??

No different at all.

When you boil it down it is a game of seconds and inches.

26 extra points over 12 quarters would have us sitting 5th with a Win / loss of 9-6
