does anyone think we deserved to win last night????

we had that game.... if a few of the boys- not emphasising on anyone in particular- practiced kicking with bucks we would surely be undefeated for season 2007...

this also brings me to my earlier threads this year where people were saying how we would be crap... WE ARE IN THE RUNNING!!!!!

Based on the first half yes, we deserved to be in front and we were. Our second half wasn't nearly as good and we rarely touched it in the last quarter. I agree with Malty, their ball use was better and they finished the game stronger and deserved to win.

I don't think we truely did but I still believe if the umpires were half good we would of won. All we needed was for one player to really win the game for us. Fraser was not 100% neither was Johnson, H.Shaw was relegated to cleaning up duties, Clement had one of his worst games for the club, Rocca was close but the ball never came down to him cleanly enough, Cloke had enough of the ball to stamp some authority but lost confidence after his first few kicks, Swan and O'Bree had solid games but never did anything brilliant besides some good clearences.

WCE had Judd and Kerr dominating and still had other players playing standout games (Jones, Stenglein), we had noone dominating and H.Shw is probably the only one who played a great game for us, Rocca was close.
