Where will Harvey play Kepler Bradley this year for the dockers? Will he start up forward as a 3rd tall? Will he be played down back? Will he be used as a tall winger or will he be left as a depth player in the WAFL?

I have no idea with this kid and where he fits in the freo line up! On his day he is something special to watch ala dustin fletcher, but when he is off his game he makes you cringe everytime he goes near the ball.

I think he will make a name for himself playing with the dockers and hope he finds the consistency he so desperately needs to take his game to the next level.

i reckon he'll be in the mix.
He won't play back, as its pretty settled there and he has said that he doesn't want to play there, not that it is his call.
He'll be off the bench, and maybe forward or midfield I'd reckon.

i said this to another dream team spy yesterday ;)
with harv's at the helm there is probaly only 10-15 at most garenteed spots at the moment, with about another 15-20 that could get a game on there given day + Kepler at this stage falls into this group, such is the depth we have at the moment.
I doubt even harvey has a set 22 that will start round 1, may have to wait for round 1 teams to see who has impressed him to date.

Not a troll but I dont think he has had his day yet....

For the best interest of the club he shouldn't get a game at all. Terrible decision making, terrible skills. If he plays 10+ games you will finish in the bottom 8 if not you'll probably make the top 4

Probably as a lead up half forward starting on the 50 and working up and down the wing.

As you can see Kep has his detractors at Essendon.

I think that the move to WA, not so much Freo but WA, will be a good move for him.

He is suited to bigger grounds, where he has more room to lope around and that in the open spaces decision making isn't as split second as on smaller grounds.

He will certainly add to your flexibility as a lead up forward, or a battering ram, would suit his style of play.

He played some excellent footy at CHF for Bendigo, but then would get bought into the seniors at get played in defense.

Time will tell and i don't think anyone believes Kep will ever be a star but i think he has a good chance to to be a handy player who will free up different options, like throw Pav on the ball etc.

Go Kep...

I dont think ive seen how he goes up forward so i cant say whether or not he will get many games.
Maybe harvs has a J Lo type role for him

Ive seen him down in defense for essendon an judging by that i think he would spend most his time in WAFL, 5 games for freo max

I dont think there will be a place for him in the forward line because i think the Adam Campbell story this year will be big.Only my opinion time will tell.

I was thinking Kepler could play at CHF if he is in form. Pav should be playing at FF. Tarrant on the HFF. Wiz in the pocket, and then you can raffle it for the rest. Pav might play as a bit of a CHF/FF mix, not the traditional FF, so someone might get named in the pocket, but actually play more of a FF role (such as murphy or campbell) while Pav has the freedom to push up the ground. Kepler is reknowned for having a big tank, so he could be one of our "prongs" of attack leading up the wing (with taz on the other).

Considering we got Kepler for nothing he was a good pick up.

It looks to me like he is competing with either;

1) Murphy, Campbell and possibly Drum for a third tall forward role if required (at best he would be number 2 on that list).

2) Gilmore, M Johnson, Mundy for a tall roaming midfielder/wing type role (he would be around last on that list).

3) Warnock and Gilmore for second ruck (probably also last on this list, maybe lower!).

If Kepler plays I think that'll be the structure. Pav and Farmer about 20 metres from goal and Tarrant and Bradley starting just inside 50 one on each HFF pushing up the ground.

How does this set up look?
Backs: O’Brien Grover Hayden
Half Backs: Dodd McPharlin MJohnson No1
Centre: Black Headland Mundy
Half Forwards: Bradley Pav Tarrant
Forwards: Farmer Campbell Bell
Followers: Sandi J Carr Solomon
Interchange: Crowley , Gilmore , (Palmer, Peake, Schammer) , Warnock

Theres a few guys that can run through the middle, it will be a last minute decision I think based on form.:thumbsu:

That sounds like a very good side but i would make two changes o'Brien and Tarrant out Drum and Thornton in

The 3 in bold probably won't play round one, Campbell and Bradley almost certainly won't play together. All six on your bench will probably be in the 22, along with Matt Carr and Mark Johnson.
