Just wondering what ppls dogs names are or good names for dogs that u have heard.

We pick up a female lab pup in a couple of weeks and were really stuck for ideas, so interested to hear ppls thoughts
 
Had 3 dogs in my life.
1st was called Heidi.
2nd was called Turtle. (a corgi)
Currently we have Ali (G-Dog) (a cains? terrior)

Have 3 sprint horses.
Periduki (from Maduki and Peragino)
King Act
Pioneer Prince (named after Periduki)
want another horse though, and call it 'my face' ;)

Live with it for a couple of weeks, work out it's personality & you'll find a suitable name, I find that's the best way. :thumbsu:
 
Pontius - was my Bull Terrier/Labrador X - great dog - epicurian loved grapes, apricots, bananas, chicken, any cake (esp fruit cake). dad always made him toast and vegemite for brekky, coon cheese for lunch.

Winston - my brother's old english sheep dog

Herman - our German Sheperd - massive hound

Stormy - jet black German Short Haired Pointer - born in a cyclone.

Tigger - Especially if the dog that you get is very playful. Pounces like a cat when the dog goes and gets a ball.
 
Our Jack Russell is named Tigger because he pounces like a cat when he chases after his soft plush footy. (he loves playing fetch).

When I go to name a pet I always look at cartoon characters.
 
We have a Maltese Terrier - his name is Coje (pronounced co-gee)
We got it by putting the first 2 letters of my name & the first 2 letters of my sister's name together. :thumbsu:

My dog is Lizzie May(After my Grandma), she is a Blue Heeler X Maltese.




Also I have a croc named Boris.;):cool:
 
I have a Maltese x West Highland Terrier called Oscar and a Border Collie named Lucy.
Recently lost a Airedale named Lily and last year lost our very old Border Collie named Meg.
I prefer "real" human names for dogs...
 
my dogs name is Dexter, after dexter holland from the offspring. my sister named him that when she was going through an obsessed offspring stage obviously lol.
a dogs name i like though is Gus. its just good for an animal for some reason:rolleyes:

Indy - Indiana Jones (border collie)
Dutch - Dutch (Arnie in Predator)(border collie)
 
I've got three dogs - Bomber, Bella and Jack. Bomber I called after Bomber Thompson, my favourite Essendon player ever; Bella after my favourite Rugby League player ever, Martin Bella; and Jack after my favourite actor Jack Nicholson.
