doggies next week, a danger game?

The dogs looked fast today, but we will provide much stronger opposition, especially at home. On our day we can control any side at the SCG and the Dogs are no exception.

A danger game yes, but one I believe we will win.

I'm not so sure. I think we can potentially get rolled in this game by a fair ammount. Dogs have a direct style of play that could easily see them transfer play from the defensive 50 to their forward line with one kick. Definately a danger game.

mmm im not feeling too confident. it is a real danger game, just when people start praising us ona great game quite often the next week we'll put in a shocker ,well that was in 04 and first half of 05, hopefully we as a team have moved on from them habits

Where in top form. I think we have a good chance to win this game. We have a better overall team than the doggies and i think that it will be a great game and a win for the swans.

exactly what s/he said.

we had a great game against an undermanned richmond. The doggies are in form and the swans are a team that humbles themselves pretty quickly when praised

I'm not confident at all so i'll just enjoy the 180 score for a few more days :D

Pressure around clearances is the key - when applied (v. Adelaide) the Dogs crumble. They can't clear speedily from defence, they make errors, and boom, the opposition pounces. So we'll have to be determined, close-marking and hard-at-it. Midfield crucial - when the Dogs waltz it home, it's against teams that are always second to the ball. An in-form Kirk or Bolton will give them less room / time than they're used to.

If we can bottle them up there, our strength in the forward line will be more pronounced. Plus they might be without Street this week - it was a weak tap, but you never know.

Anyway, I think we're a very good chance. The only danger is if the boys slack off. And I think we turned a corner on Saturday. Expect them to come out very tough next week.

Swans + 25.

Definitely one of the more challenging games this season but I think we are in form to beat them, considering how well they played against port.

They definitely have a lot of speed in the midfield. Plenty of times they ran straight from the midfield to inside 50 for a goal against port. I think with kennelly, bolton and crouch at HB, we can definitely stop them.

Huge game. I think we are w massive chance. They are a running team however the size of the SCG will make it difficult for them to run the lines. Just not enough space. I reckon they will overuse it.

I think we will just get across the line. Bazza will kick 6 as they have no one to stop him.

Dont worry about that Nikki.... I support the Geelong Falcons. Family member plays for them. I dont support those stinking cats! I am a Swans thru and Thru. Was at the granny last year and have been supporting them all my life.
