Considering getting this one pretty soon but may add the red, white and blue into it someway.

I personally don't have any tatoos no but i have heard so many stories from friends etc that they regret getting a tatoo back in their days.

So before you commit to doing it just think do you really need/ want it ?

I got one about 16 years ago and have no regrets. The trick is to get it where it can be hidden when it needs be.

Absolutely...I am not a tattoo type person so yeah I would regret it if it was visible all the time.

A story I heard was that back in the nineties the players all made a pact to get a Bulldogs (or similar tattoo) if they won the flag.

Danny Southern was one of the few to disagree. He thought it devalued the sacred traditions of tattooing to get something so flippant! Danny himself had Masai warrior tattoos (as can be seen in Year of the Dogs).

Not sure whether this is true, but its a good story. Danny was an interesting character.

Absolutely...I am not a tattoo type person so yeah I would regret it if it was visible all the time.

If you decide to get one on your upper leg and you go to a Tattoo Shop run by motorcycle enthusiast then I suggest you don't wear boxer shorts. They are likely to question your sexuality and refuse to do the job.

i was gonna get one but with the latest relocation romours i may put it off. worst thing would be getting a bulldogs tatt only for us to become western sydney.

I would get one. A picture of a bulldog and get premiers and then have a list of all the flags we have won. Wouldnt cost to much either

The at park footy if my team were ever to win the flag at senior level then i would get one of those aswell. Even if you do end up leaving the club (like Mooney) you will still always look back on it as the best day of your life.

When Mooney was with the Kangas in 1999 they won the flag and he got a tat. It was in the paper last year around GF time. He said he had no regrets.

It happened to me. The guy said only ****s wear boxer shorts and he refused to do the tattoo. I went elsewhere. At the time I was way to drunk to argue.

If your really must get a tatt, get a calendar. At least for a year it will be useful.
