Just wanted Sellwood to plant a right hook flush to the chin and lullaby his a$$
Also kind of glad that he didn't
Yep I was wanting a Scarlett/Ballantyne chinning. Because at the time we were toast. I said to the Misso, Sellers has my permission for a 3 weeker here. Knock that little campaigner out.

Watching back bits of the game (sleep? meh), jeez Hynes was good. 80% time on ground, 560 metres gained and he's the one who's worked hardest defensively to take the oob free kick in the last line in the last minute or 2 of the match.

Also, kudos to Sammy Power for identifying Sellwood and Lewis with supplementary picks. They really give us that bit of edge and willingness to get in the oppositions faces that we've needed.

I love that Sellwood and Lewis will not take any Tish and actively search for trouble and upsetting of hot blooded players. The way the boys all flew the flag and not let the Hawks arrogance and cheap shots go unpunished was commendable.
Mark my words this could be a watershed game. No more Mr Nice Guys, get back to Terry Wallace’s very unsociable Dogs.

Ouch my head hurts. Oh well worth it.

lots of games recent years we've scored many Behinds ruing the performance so they can cry about that....Croft still looks a bit raw at times but stood up in the heat, O'Donnell with some vital spoils/moments might not show up in the stats

Excuse the interruption, but have to acknowledge a great win. Thankfully the non holding the ball decision didn't change the result.

The last play was all about effort and guts. Unbelievable spoil, and although not in the stats, look where West runs from to get free in the forward 50. He sprints from half back to the forward pocket. Efforts like that win games.

Cooper Hynes was always going to be a slow build. But he's just about there now and justifying the faith that Beveridge and the MC have had in him. When so few did.
When I met him at Maroochydore two years ago when he got drafted I had a feeling he was going to be good, just so passionate and keen to learn, excited to be in the system etc. spoke to him again this year and asked how he was enjoying it a year later and he answered exactly as I wanted to hear. Kid will be a star.

Please stop writing kids off (not you Norm, just in general)

The frustration is those bottom 6 who have had a chance and don’t move us forward. Hynes, Croft, Jaques, Dolan….future is looking good

Would have been more like a 12 weekend if he cold cooked that little campaigner. I wouldn’t have wanted it but would have understood doing it

I’ve been critical of Hynes. Tonight’s game was very good. Croft, does not give up. Seems to get better as the game goes deep.
He has a great athletic profile . Good tank and good burst of acceleration for a big guy. Just have to keep pumping the games into him. Will be a valuable acquisition over time that fill many roles if required

Getting in Sicily and Watson’s heads is a masterful tactic that completely rattled them in the 2nd 1/2

I don't want to ever hear anyone say sack Bevo ever again.

Whatever the faults for this team they wanted to run through walls for him and the club in the 2nd half.

A season we thought was dead is very much alive.
I never thought it was dead. I realistically believed we were gutted by injury to most of our spine all at the same time. Just had to manage the damage, stem the bleeding and get going again.

Need to fix up that % though.

Be nice to play Rich sometime soon instead of Hawks and Crows twice
