Dom Sheed

Sheed's forward game was the reason I was happy that West Coast drafted him.

He just looks so comfortable down there,When majority of our mids go forward they look lost.

If that's a constant throughout his career, combined with his evasiveness in traffic we've got ourselves a very good, potentially elite player

Sheed, Cole, Duggan, Nelson, Rioli, Venables, Barrass, Watson are some young talent to get excited about!

Btw what's Murtimer been upto, since he had a couple of games he's MIA!?

Seemed to be playing alot off HB today, i think since Redden and Masten have been playing for EP his midfield time has dried up a little.

We might be better off playing Duggan & Cole off HB and move Nelson into the midfield.

Duggan looks too lost in the midfield/doesn't accumulate it enough. Running of HB and pushing up the ground might be better for him.

Though Duggan played near on his best game for us on Thursday. Seemed to be playing along the left wing.

He was playing wing, mid, hff in the first half where he was ok but nothing special, went to the hb line as an extra in the second half and really dominated, big influence in us holding off Geelong in that half and getting the win.

Funny when you draft a half back flanker they perform best on a half back flank

I know right

All of his draft highlights were him playing off half back, who would have thought

Interesting how we get all salty that Priddis can only play one position but then don't want other guys like Duggan to learn to be versatile and play other positions that they aren't comfortable with.
Difference being that Duggan is still super young and still has 10 years to build that flexibility into his game once he's at least nailed one position.

Cannot wait for this guy to build up a good tank and be able to run out games. At the moment he's putting 2-3 quarters of elite football and fading pretty badly.

Edit: Just looking at the stats, he's 24th at the club for Time on Ground percentage at 73%.
For comparison our fittest mid(gaff) is at 90%

Recommitted to the club for another two years according to the West this morning. Good news.
