There is something funny going on with the players here. Lloydie started it on The Footy Show the other night with a little plug for 3 mobile i cant remember the specifics but he dropped the companys name anyway. That is not all that unusual on TFS, but when i heard Mcveigh slide in a cheeky and rather unnecessary comment about 3 when accepting the Archer/Hird medal i thought something was a little sus. And now confirming my suspicions, Bachar Houli dropped another shameless plug when talking about talking to his friends and family about receiving the Rising Star nom at todays press conference. I reckon the players have some competition or game or something probably organised by the club to see who can give 3 the biggest plug.

Yeah, Knighter dropped the Samsung and 3 Mobile reference the other day on Footy Classified and I think Gary or Hutchy was laughing for a brief second off camera.

Good work I say, shows the club, and its players, work to keep the sponsors happy.

Plus it would be amusing if the players had a bit of a competition going.

I noticed Bachar referred to the "massive phone bill" his brother will have racked up on his (Bachar's) account following his Rising Star nomination. Probably not the precise brand message 3-Mobile want to put into the market, but still a good plug! How many phones for family members do the players get????
