Through the years I have probably spent thousands of hours in front of the computer playing the old Doom and Quake games..

Does anyone know any news at all about Doom 3.

Im preparing to go into hiding for a month so I can kill monsters all day.

Downloaded the hires E3 video of it the other day. Bloody hell it's good. Looking forward to when it's released.
Can't beleive it's been over a year since I did a thread on it. At the time was supposed to be out by mid this year. Still is a while off yet.

Nope, quite happy playing games on a games console. Gaming is far superior on games consoles, fact.

My mac is the tool of my trade, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

The console vs computer war is even more pointless than the Mac vs PC war.

If you like racing, fighting or platform games, get a console.
If you like RPGs, strategy or FPS games, get a PC.
If you like both, get both.

If you're using your computer for games, buy a PC.
If you're using your computer for multimedia, get a Mac.
If you're using it for other reasons, pick whichever one you like better.

Get over your petty tribalism. Computers and consoles are TOOLS, nothing more, and you pick the best tool for the job at hand.

true thats why i have ps2, xbox and pc.
sports games are better on consoles also.
