I find it hard to see how he has 15 trades left when he has done pretty much two sideways trades a week..
He might have to use a couple so his great ruck combo of Ryder and Sandi doesn't cost him a pair this week.

He's trading hard, but the number of premiums in his team isn't increasing.
He scored 1943 this week.
BAHAHAhahahaAHAh what a shocker. He is gone. Will probably make another 2 more panic trades in disgust this week. Was always going to hit a brick wall and collapse in a heap. Funny that he's still earning decent coin and has some trades left so you'd think he should be able to hold it steady for the next 3 weeks before collapsing to a new level of patheticness.

It will be interesting to see how high a ranking someone can get by sideways trades alone. Not sure how many "upgrades" he has actually made.

you people are just a bit too harsh on this person. Unless you have inside knowledge/contacts with most afl clubs, it's just pure guess work and when it comes to each round, just pray all goes well which that would cover 99% of us on AFL Dreamteam.
So whilst alot of people on here are laughing at him, you are all in the same boat.

Do you think it's a fluke that there are guys that come in the top 100 year in year out? Because if it was all luck then the odds of that are extremely minimal.
It's not pure guess work. I mean it might be for you but I know it's not for me and most others.

I bless your cotton socks, you've been defending this guy for months.
Simple fact is that Dr DT (I assume it is a number of people) wrote a terrible article that started this thread.
He then proceeded to say that many people were living in the past with their trading strategies and sideways traded around the byes. He moved up the rankings during those rounds and started to tell people how good and forward thinking he was.
While he was sideways trading, many other coaches were using sound downgrade and upgrading techniques. While he is now moving down the rankings, there are many coaches that are pushing forward.
I would say many people on BF have more knowledge with regards to the strategies of how to trade in DT compared to someone with a "PHD in DT"...
I think Dr DT has been great, he has shown how to NOT trade during a season. He actually started with a very good team and has managed to trade his way to an average team.

Did anyone notice Dr Dream Team had only 3 emergencies who were playing last round. They were all in the forwards, so he had 3 emergencies in the forwards. Does someone want to explain the rules to this guy?

I agree that his starting team was quite good, perhaps better than mine, although he missed out on Cox for some reason.
