And now Nelson!?! I don't even know who the hell Nelson is but because we stuffed up two picks already im guessing hes a dud as well! $&&&ing recruiters!

My point is our drafting (and arguably player development) can be described as average at best in recent times so to roll out the 'recruiters know so trust them' line doesn't really fly.

Is it our drafting, or is it our development? To be fair, nobody really knows how a player is going to develop at draft time, so I'd be arguing the latter.

One thing's for sure, our recruiters ALWAYS go safe with our first pick, and take risks with our second.

It's becoming very predictable. Happy with the draft though. Think there must be serious Qs over Laverde, and he's probably only been hyped this whole time because journos thought he was going to Collingwood at 5.

Disappointed Cockatoo went before us, but Duggan looks a safe bet and Lamb could be anything,

Happy with our picks though. Duggan is a good get, Lamb could be anything, Nelson and Cavka are pretty much steals from where we've got them.

Me too. Lamb was perhaps an unnecessary high/risk reward however our next 2 picks seem like very solid bets to make it given their draft spot.
