I'm fortunate to know Chris personally. He is a terrific player right throughout his junior career. Chris has only one problem and that is his body handling the rigours of sport.
I'm sure you would of heard more about him except for him breaking bones at least twice in the development days at East freo, OP just recently and some minor other ailments.
He is able to read the play as he has played the majority as an onballer, great capacity to run, listens to his coaches, a good teammate despite being the "star". Later in life he has grown considerably and can take a great mark. His foot skills are good without being exceptional, but in saying that he has missed a lot of football.
At the development level for the WAFL; 13's , 14's 15 and16's Jono was clearly regarded as one of the best in the state in comparison to his peers.
Cosidering that he is a young player and could play Colts again next year and play 18's again he would be regarded as a "Cooney, Walker, etc" for his year level.
Hope this gives you an insight into a great talent that you will be picking up.
Thanks.
