Great work guys. We started 6:30pm, 11/08/07, and 6 weeks later... we're almost finished. Everyone who's picked has signed up quick-time so that's great!

Hopefully everyone is clear on keeper rules by now, but that's to worry about at the end of the year, if you guys are still active!!! They were very simply compared to the other league, anyway.

For the Oden and Brand owner's, you'll have to wait until they miss the 5 games before you can put them on the IL. As for the Artest and Jackson owner's, you'll be down one spot for the first 7 games they play because they're officially suspended and don't qualify for the IL.
More on the processes of the IL later though.

Waiver priority will just be the reverse order of the first round. I could randomize it again but it's easier this way.

Yeah, it's perfectly fine. I may decide to lock the team names in when we get going to avoid team names changes and possibly confusion.

Also, I think I'll make the waivers the reverse of the first round. It's fairer that way, and otherwise it'll be weird putting Chris Paul at pick #3...

The first round has already been offset by the reversing of the order in the 2nd round. I know I have an obvious bias here - but pretty much everyone's agreed. The last round is the only one where order wasn't reversed in the following round (since there was an odd # of rounds).

Okie. This is how the IL will work.

Of course, everyone will have 2 free bench spots after the draft. These are your IL spots.

If a player is out for 5 consecutive games (ie. plays no minutes) without being officially suspended, they can be put into the IL.

I'll use Elton Brand as the injury and Quinton Ross as the pick-up in this example.
In this case, the manager with Brand will have to post a message on the message board of the Yahoo! league. I'm sure everyone knows how to post a message there.

Make the message clear.
Title: Activating IL
Body: IL (injured) - Elton Brand. Pickup - Quinton Ross.

Once a player misses 5 games, you can immediately put him on the IL. Do the research and make sure he's missed the appropriate games.

Whenever you want, you can activate the IL player. To do this, just drop one of your 16 players (15 + 1 injured), and you're back to 15 players, who are all eligible to play.

The important thing is that at any one time, every team is only allowed 15 active players.

Anyone found abusing the system may have their team locked! Anyway, it's actually should be really simply as long as things are made clear!

In the process however, I've seen that you haven't changed your starting lineup, and all you're players are sitting on the bench. Kool Aid Kids is in the same boat, so make sure you put your players starting if you want to gain stats in the first week
