I know all this is harmless and just good fun but nicknames, if they are any good, cant be manufactured but come with an element of peer respect and therefore must be earnt. It great to have another good draft but let them go out earn their stripes.

Yeah, I have been flicking through this thread, and it is possibly the lamest thread I have ever read. Some of the suggestions have been absolutely ridiculous.
I have got a couple of suggestions, we could a) refer to the players by their correct names so that everyone who reads the threads in future will understand who we are referring to, b) wait for a nickname that the player already carries to become common knnowledge and then use it or c) continue on giving out stupid suggestions which will make these new players sound like mongoloids.

Can't we just go the tried and true traditional aussie nickname method? Just chuck a Y or an O on the end of there name, alA Johnno! Solly, Hirdy, Lloydy, Scotty, Ramanaskuso! Ok, not the last 1.
