Where is Drum?

I picked him in my dream team (;)) at the start of the year as I thought he was going to play round one and he hasn't been mentioned since.

Is he close to getting a game?

This is a really good sign in my opinion as in the past we have had our top draft pick playing very early if not round 1. Now we have the luxury of picking them when they are really ready, petty this wasn't the case when Dunn came to us.

Ryley Dunn

2003 NAB AFL Draft 1st round selection (Fremantle) No. 10 overall traded by Hawthorn for Trent Croad.

We've heard a lot about him but I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever see him in the 22! Hopefully soon! :)

We also got Murphy at pick 12, Mundy at pick 19 (sweet!), Campbell at pick 27 & Peake at pick 43 with a Father/Son Pick!

We got some good ones in that Draft! :)

Struggles at WAFL level and I can't see him making it as an AFL player.

Add to that M.J. in the preseason draft, Duff & Warren in the rookie draft. (extra sweet!!)

It was a huge investment in the future at the expense of short term gain as realistically unless you are a Judd , Hase etc it is two to three seasons before you start to get up to speed.

All of them have shown a fair bit it is just that Ryley Dunn has shown how to get injured all the time.

Still you don't get dual AA honours if you are a hack so it is still way to early to write him off.

i ask who wasi n that draft post pick 10 to see who we missed out on if we didnt pick murphy...and is doing well now...

Also Johnno at # 9 in 2003 pre season draft

There was no need to rush Dunn into the side in 2004.
Too much was made of him being a tough nut.

His body has shown at the moment it isn't up to the rigours of AFL.
