True, but most people on BF tend to talk about the same players constantly, so good players fall through the cracks. The only player ive chosen because of his uniqueness is Bruce, but he is a gun and should average 100 this season.
Im considering swapping Skippy back to the forwards, but none of the cheap rookie mids look that good (outside of Anthony/Beams and im not sold on them anyway). Would like to get Rich back in there, but would need to find 30k or so...

I like this team, only a couple of players different to mine.
I would recommend putting hill on the bench and getting rid of suban.
perhaps trade hodge for either grimes or adcock or gram to upgrade rich and petrenko. I think hodge will drop in value during the first half of the season.
I really like your ruck combo, same as mine. I think sandilands could have a big year. I also think mclean could have a big year, maybe condsider swapping gibbs for mclean so you don't have so many carlton players.

umm i think hodge to grimes is a bit too much of a downgrade...as i want hodge as a keeper, cos with grimes i already have raines, drummond, etc who may need to be traded. i was thinking hodge for fisher mayb, or even gram cld be a very gd trade. i wld liek to hear your thoughts on y u think adcock just out of interest.
umm who wld u recomend i upgrade rich and petrenko to....even if i do thats a very expensive defence bench i wld have.
mm i like the looks of gibbs this yr probs will keep him there....lookn at upgrading yarran to krakouer, cld prove to b a bit more of a solid forward line....thoughts ppl...??

its not that bad....all 3 will drop in price almost certainly. mayb if u had kornes or swan just for sum gd high scorers then upgraded wen ABC drop wld be a very gd idea and potentially save u 50-100K in the long run

Depends on what the rest of your team looks like? no point on having ABC if everything else is rubbish
I just have a feeling adcock could return to his 07 DT form this season. There's a rumor that he may be moved into the midfield this year. If you had more cash, i would upgrade rich to haselby or T tuck and i meant to say upgrade suban or hill, not petrenko.
I rate yarran just as high if not higher than krakouer. I think he could score similar to rioli.
I don't see this as that big of a problem, not if you have individual reasons for selecting each player. For example, i currently have 7 Carlton players in my side - almost half of which are rookies - which may seem like alot, although i can provide a justification for the selection of each one.
Plus, of all Carlton players Gibbs should be the first you pick.
Let's not go overboard.
haha id prefer to base my decision on more than jsut ur feelings. and didnt adcock score better in 2007 wen he was down back, and in 2008 wen pushed into midfield score not as well????
mm i think rich will earn more money and haselby will b slow to start... and y shld i downgrade tuck to haselby??? mmm the krakouer trade was just food for thought...idk may happen, may not :S
He played midfield last year and got crap scores, it was when he played in the backline (2007) that he scored well so people want him to play in the backline again, not the midfield.

yea and i have read a lot of stuffing pointing towards vossy wanting to use him in the midfield....but there still being a hole for a small defender to fill in
buuuut after his stellar 2007, wen he moved to midfield in 2008 he got tagged quite a bit and recieved quite a lot of attention from opposition and went head to head with the big boys. this yr he cld be very similar to nathan foley, in that after being shut down, the opposition may not worry bout him all that much. i kno that they dint worry bout him too much with the likes of black, power, lappin in the team as well, but yea cld relish the opportunity if less attention this yr, its a rlly hard one.....

I like your back line and your bench selections. I don't see leuenburger scoring big points this season, but i could be wrong. maybe a bit risky having ziebell starting, but his preseason looked good.
My only recommendation would be to downgrade boyd to someone like judd and upgrade leuenburger to macintosh. But if you think leuenberger will score well, then stick with what you have.
I don't see any problems with this team, B ross is a player i've never heard of. All i know is he only got 7 points in first nab game. injured?
@ the same price as Raines, you'd hope he is as good. I'd stick with Rainesy if you have to make a choice.
Ok I think I'm pretty happy with the team so far, although it gets changed almost everyday as there is always at least one thing that bothers me.

Also the low number of keepers, with only really 12-13 which is above the supposed minimum but could potentially leave me low on trades. I guess thats the trade off i have made by spending so much on the bench.
