I am looking at trading in Matty Boyd for Jobe Watson but i am not 100% sure if i need to upgrade in any other areas first? Or if i should hold on to trades?

Mitchell is out for 1-2 weeks, so I don't understand the logic behind you wanting to trade out a fit midfielder at this stage.

Grimes OUT

IN: Carazzo? Kelly? S Fisher? H Shaw?

Give people something else to put their mind to aside from Barlow

Id say Kelly as well. Carazzo will be used as a tagger more often than not and H.Shaw can't handle the forward tag. I can see more and more coaches using this tactic to curb his penetration out of HB. Kelly in the star studded Geelong will never get this attention. S.Fisher has also been pulled from his normal position a couple of times as well which has affected his scoring.

tading out barlow and armstrong this week, 2options are:

Montagna / Stanton

or

Bartel / Judd

averages about the same, but question mark on stanton, he is at a good price though

In a bind now, was planning on going Webberly to Strijk, but now Webber has got a game. Surely Strijk has better job security.

I could always go Hunt > Strijk, would love the cash, but I love Hunt's JS, and despite being very very inconsistent, has a decent chance of pulling a 70 when he fills in.

Ziebell to Tippett, to people think this is a good trade, would make me about 30K. Was planning on trading Ziebell to Riewoldt but that plan is shot to pieces...Thoughts?

Got $205k in the bank. Want to get rid of Hall. Currently have Chapman, ROK, Pav, Hall, Pods, Rockliff, Phil Davis (Brown, Fyfe).

Tossing up between Franklin and Didak. Thoughts?

Ended up going

Barlow -> Boyd
Ziebell -> Tippett.

^^^
I am hoping at least that so then I can trade Lecras to him, need the Frenchie to have a big 3 weeks

Ok, problem time.

4 of my 9 forwards aren't playing this week, but with Ziebell missing the rest of the season I can trade him to avoid one donut, but who do I trade him to?

I only have $279,900, so there aren't a lot of good options. Looking through the list, I've spotted out a few potentials:

$279,000 - Heath Grundy (avg 75.64)
$275,100 - Patrick Dangerfield (avg 67.08)
$274,400 - Justin Westhoff (avg 71.36)
$271,900 - Scott Stevens (avg 65.30)
$264,500 - Jeff Garlett (avg 68.09)
$258,900 - Jarryd Grant (avg 71.30)
$257,300 - Chris Dawes (avg 72.38)
$252,600 - Michael Hurley (avg 59.18)
$246,400 - Chris Yarran (avg 63.55)
$244,400 - Lachie Henderson (avg 59.70)
$241,200 - Jason Porplyzia (64.33)
$232,200 - Taylor Walker (62.45)
$228,700 - Brendan Fevola (62.85)
$176,300 - Jack Watts (50.00)

Ok so there are more than a few, lol. But there still aren't many great choices there. And there are many with question marks over their heads.

Can Grundy replicate his form from early in the year?
Can Dangerfield take it to the next level?
Can Grant cement his place in the 22 for the rest of the year?
Can Dawes take hold of his position and put out some good numbers?
Can Porplyzia overcome some bad form and replicate his 99 from last week?
Can Walker become a consistent forward?
Can Fev bounce back to his best for the last part of the year?
Can Watts take off his tutu and better the 87 he posted last week?

Decisions, decisions. :confused:

I would go Didak. Loves the big stage and should dominate Port this Friday night. More consistent than Franklin as well IMO. Im assuming Brown will slot back in for Phil Davis when he comes good?

Nice forward line:thumbsu:

Couple of options I reckon:

Grundy is the most consistent option there and averages the most. Don't be fooled by Danger. Brilliant player and will end the year well, but just not suited to DT for mine.

Grant interests me as well. I have a sneaky feeling the Dogs may start to vary their forward options a bit more as the year rolls on and Hall starts to tire. Grant could be the big benefactor. Already cemented in their 22 IMO

Good luck. Hope that helps

hey fellas, i tried to submit this through a screen shot obviously stuffed it up. anyways my midfield and forwards are as follows:

MIDS: SWAN/HAYES/MITCHELL/WATSON/SELWOOD/BARLOW (rohan/mcniel)
FORWARDS: JOHNSON/O'KEEFE/GOODES/BROWN/PODS/SYLVIA/BRENNAN (hitchcock/gumby)

Trade Barlow out to Ablett, Montagna or Boyd. Swap Goodes with Mcniel for this week because Mitchell is out. Upgrade Gumbleton to forward. That will make your team this week:
Mid - Swan, Hayes, Watson, Selwood, Goodes, Ablett/Montagna/Boyd (Rohan, Mitchell)
Fwd - ROK, Pods, Sylvia, Brennan, Hitchcock, Upgrade for Gumbleton, Mcniel (Brown, SJ)

You are going to have to cop a 0 unless you trade Brown or SJ which I wouldn't advise

Can Grundy replicate his form from early in the year?

When is Craig Bolton due back? His absence could explain why Grundy's DT scores have declined.

Would be a good value pick if Bolton is due back soon.

Grundy's avg with Bolton: 90.6 from 5 games
Grundy's avg without Bolton: 67.3 from 9 games (still better than most on your list)

So I've got both Barlow and Ziebell injured and will most likely cop a zero this week if I don't trade them both out. 6 trades, 75k. Link to team.

Option 1:
Barlow->Harvey
Ziebell->Davis/Dangerfield

Option 2:
Barlow->Chapman/Ablett/Montagna/Boyd etc.
Ziebell->O'Brien/TDL

Option 3:
Barlow->Chapman/Ablett/Montagna/Boyd etc.
Ziebell->David/Dangerfield

Option one and two both will give me enough money for my last upgrade in the backline. One will give me more DP flexibiblity and give me cover for the rest of the year, but slightly lower scoring potential. Two gives me the best scoring potential but worse cover for the year (might be OK once SJ and Hille are back because of Tippett). Three gives the best scoring potential but will force me to use an extra trade for my final upgrade.
