Why would you keep both first round picks? He's a restricted free agent and Richmond have already stated they will most likely match any offer. You're gonna have to pony up at least 1 of the picks. Still be worth it though

Exactly what Adelaide did with Dangerfield. They had no intent on signing him. It was almost as though it was for goodwill. It would be prearranged with all parties. Dusty has already committed to the saints, Richmond match to force a trade and dusty would know that. If the saints backed out it wouldn't look great for them

Well given the fact that Waldron was CEO of the club previously I'd be pretty surprised if he didn't get some good St Kilda mail!

Is this really a surprise to anyone though? We already had a butt-load of cap space free and now Riewoldt retiring and possibly Joey as well will free up as much as a mil more.

We're probably at the stage where we just about have to throw a big wad of cash at someone, just to help us reach the minimum TPP- and I think we might have to pay 105% of the cap for the next 3 years, because we paid 95% for 3 straight.

I can't see Dusty going to another Melbourne team unless it is for $$$ In my view which could be wrong, if Richmond would match he would stay there. THerefore, if he is going I could see a L. Franklin scenario where all Richmond get is the priority pick.
