I normally don't complain about the commentators but today's calling by Dwayne Russell was one of the most biased and unprofessional I have ever heard. The little Goblin couldn't hid his hate for Carlton and love for Port, and I noticed he lost his excitement in the final quarter. Worst TV commentator by a mile, thankfully we are not on foxtel very often

I agree and Healy is dumb as well. Terrible commentator, states the obvious, has no insight and BIASED!!!

He's a bucket.

Had enough at half time and turned the radio on over the top of the TV. The Adelaide MMM commentary was 10 times better and more exciting...
 
Fat moron. Has always had a hate of the Navy Blues and obviously not enjoying the resurgence. How he has mumbled and stumbled his way onto TV at all is a mystery. Maybe that rumour about him chooching a male TV exec is right after all!!!

If you have foxtel, as a consumer you should complain,

feedback@foxsports.com.au

Tell them as a consumer you are unhappy with the standard, and will cancel, if enough people complain ...they will take notice.

This was pathetic.

After Garlett had just chased 100 metres and layed a tackle Russell proceeded to berate Garlett's kicking as horrendous and his play as selfish :o :rolleyes:

He's miles better than you ever were at anything, Dwayne.
 
As I said elsewhere Eddie McGuire was offended after 2 "comments" against Andrew Krakour by a feral St. Kilda supporter.

Russell was at it all night - and I wonder what Eddie's reaction would have been if he was in the commentary box with him.

Watched the game at a mates house and turned the sound down deliberately made for much better viewing.
Hope Foxtel piss him off before the start of next season, dead set hack!

I love it when he complains when a player gets tackled as soon as he picks up the ball and says "how is that not holding the ball"?

When Setanta picked up the footy and went to kick it IMMEDIATELY after gaining control and got tackled he said "he had prior opportunity".

Dead-set moron.
 
Taken us a decade to get where we are tonight and people have nothing to do but bitch about commentary? Talk about irrelevancy. How about we maintain the rage, remember the pain and stay focused on how beautiful it is to be a CFC supporter right this minute?

Hadn't noticed or taken notice before.

But today, he made watching the game uncomfortable.

Even the girlfriend commented.
 
There are plenty of threads where i have professed my love for the Carlton football club, and the individuals involved in the Carlton Football Club, as well as the individual with no neck in the Carlton Football Club.

However, this thread is about the individual who took a little bit of joy out of the win, for his ****ing annoying commentary (well, made that joy more painful). If you don't want to talk about Dwayne-Pipe Russell, than don't join this thread.

Thy, you've been on this board for about 793 years now, thought you knew that.

Back on topic: You can tell a commentator is biased, when the unfavored team scores a goal, and the commentator talks about what the other team did wrong.

The man is a tool.

Go on then, whinge and moan, you seem to forget we are hated most when we are successful. It's just a sign that our resurgence is almost complete.
