Same reason 30% of Tiger fans would. It's probably his responsibility as a commentator to know correct pronunciation of names but he sure as hell isn't the only one.

Disagree. For all the reasons to not like Eddie - his commentary is not one of them.

I don't know how to describe it but the idea of the current serving President of our most hated rival commentating on our footy club is just wrong.

Especially when there is an incident and his comments can severely draw attention to .

Yeah, going to be some serious mute button action at my place this season - the Tiges kick off the NAB Cup with my three most despised commentators. It was so painful to sit through the dribble from McGuire and Dwayno but Brereton's drivel is only matched by the ridiculousness of his hair. When IS Gary March going to start commentating and passing comment on other team's players and possible suspensions?

Yes...just does not have an unbiased opinion when it concerns the RFC...

I like his comments in general...but when it concerns the RFC for some unknown...to me at least...never a kind word...bastard!....

Ok...not talking about last nights commentary by Brereton...just the last few years!......

Maybe he was just being brutally honest about the RFC and its playing group in general...

In that case i respect him even more as a commentator...

Add me to the list of those who can't stand him. My main beef with him is his constant commentary of umpiring decisions. It never ends and often he is completely wrong. I don't think he can go through a passage of play without complaining about an umpiring decision. Brian Taylor is the same.
