Good to see him finally getting the recognition, even if people are taking pot shots at Rance in the process.
Imagine if the tigers lost Dusty lol.

Lol. 5 players out tonight, 4 of our best 10. Tiges have injuries. Still won though.

Heard "mixed" reviews about the bloke he is behind closed doors, playing some good footy though

AA lock.

No frills, gets the job done week in, week out..
The ultimate team player and coming off chronic hammies is even more impressive given he is at full stretch so often in games to affect a contest.

I'm impressed.

How many of the 2017 top 8 did Richmond play in the first 8 weeks of 2018? Iirc the answer is '1', almost uncanny, pretty sure we played 3 in the first 4 weeks.
Think you'll find you played two. In any event, if you average the ladder positions of all clubs except your own position and compare this against the average ladder position of all 22 opponents then you will find your draw this year is:

- 4.74% easier compared with current 2018 positions
- 5.64% easier compared with the 2017 ladder

whilst for Richmond:

- 0.91% easier compared with current 2018 positions
- 7.09% harder compared with the 2017 ladder

Last season he went through a period of about nine games where he kept his direct opponent scoreless.
The only game last year Toby Greene played and didnt score was against grimes.
Another cool thing about him during some of the years he was injured he was made part of the leadership group.
I’ve never seen him lose his cool and last year when he got ironed out by Membrey 70’s style still played on till the second half.

Really? I had reason to meet him a couple of times two or three years ago and he was a very nice bloke. Those mixed reviews might be because he doesn’t fit the mould of a typical AFL player - didn’t strike me as one of ‘da boiz’

(we did at pick 2 PSD) obviously not rated super highly as a youngster, without a highly-touted brother could he have missed out all together?

The contrast with his brother is pretty amazing.

Jack a first round draft pick, Dylan a PSD afterthought. Jack was named captain of Melbourne while Dylan was recovering from multiple serious hamstring injuries. At one stage Jack had played 85 games to Dylan's 39.

Fast forward a few years - Jack's ambitions went unfulfilled; Dylan has a premiership medal, has played more games and is in the conversation for the All-Australian team.

Talk about the fickle finger of fate.
