Below is what I believe to be each team's best away/clash jumper option. I have chosen designs with colours that work best as an alternate to home jumpers. I dislike teams wearing white away/clash jumpers where it is not one of their primary colours. 11 of these designs are the current away/clash.




First Row: Generally accepted/universally liked

Bris: Fitzroy inspired, either this or wear FFC monogram jumper in Vic a la Swans now doing with SM vee.
Ess: Finally gone with what was the obvious choice all along.
NM: Only change I'd make is all blue back for proper contrast with white based home.
Rich: Now iconic as only team to win a premiership wearing clash design.
St.K: Only team to adopt away as home jumper back in 90's.
Syd: This only works due to Swans adopting all red back home in 90's.
WC: Original 1987 home.

Second Row: Mostly accepted

Coll: Works fine as alternate to white on black home. Some may disagree.
GWS: All orange is unique.
Haw: Traditional vee design from when entered league.
Melb: Royal Blue from 80's.
WB: Either this red or some may prefer the white version.

Third Row: Up for debate

Adel: Always liked this design. All red back without the lines either side would be better.
Carl: I like this version as has a little more design element to it than just all white.
Freo: Anchor's away!
Geel: Either this or the previous seasons design with larger cat head in middle.
GC: Only team I've chosen with white away where it's not one of their colours as the red version obviously doesn't work & there was no yellow or blue version of this made.
Port: Needs all teal back to be proper contrast to home.

That red kit from the Bulldogs, coupled with red shorts, was grossly underrated and absolute class. No idea why it was so unpopular.

I think it needed a richer shade of red similar to the Suns now, it looked a little washed out at times bordering on pink in the light. Great jumper concept overall just a minor tweak for me.

Needed a red collar, Bulldogs guernseys look so much better with just the same colours for the collar and base guernsey.
