Now with Mick Gone that does open the Door for Eade to come in.

Eddie said a few times during the year it would be a position that will be filled no matter what, but who knows if they're still thinking that way? It'll be good for Buckley to have some senior experience around the club. Eade is no Malthouse but he's not clueless, he's been in the game long enough and taken teams into the finals a number of times.

Well if its the same as the one that Mick was going to have he will have nothing to do with the Coaching staff.
Anyway I think Eade would prefer to be the top banana and therefore there is a greater chance that he will be at St Kilda.

Eade had the lowest footy department spending in the AFL and managed to get the doggies list to a prelim 2-3 times in a row? his not that old as well he'd be a gem at collingwood. Him and harvey from fremantle maybe if we can afford it (ex senior coaches would demand a lot of $$)

Matthews will never coach any side again. Also Eade doesn't need to be a great tactician. If he's an assistant his focus will be on one area only and he'll be doing what Bucks wants him to do. If he's DOC or whatever then game day tactics won't have anything to do with his role.

Exactly.

I wouldn't be averse to having Eade around the club in some capacity.

From memory Eade was on record as tipping the Cats yesterday (small margin). Good tip I suppose but my initial thought was that if you were in the mix to come on board it was a strange selection not putting faith in your incumbant team.

Or for the conspiracy theory maybe he went the Cats to keep the scent away from him being linked to us.

Wouldn't want him as a senior coach, but in a supportive role - yes please.

Make no mistake, it will be Bucks at the helm and Rocket will be following his gameplan.
