This has probably already been mentioned somewhere but anyway..

I just finished watching St Kilda club show and in particular, the Saints Scared segment (which is hilarious), they have the best show out of all 16 clubs IMO..

Ours is absolutely dreadful, I mean five minutes of "highlights" every week, come on, and then another five minutes wasted in the team store and our extremely exciting club calander, what the hell is going on?

Why dont they get some of the team actually involved with it? Anything would be better than Karl

Who can I complain to? I want action dammit!

Why would they bother? There's no need for the majority of Eagles supporters to get Foxtel - so they don't. As a result, I guess they don't see the need to create programs tailored specifically towards Eagles supporters.

Clubs like the Saints (whose show is very good, I agree on the little I've seen) don't get as many free to air games, so there's more of a reason to try and get their supporters to subscribe. That's where the market is.

Not saying I agree, but that's the way I see the situation.

On a related topic, is the Eagles show really called 'Eagle Eye'? Couldn't they have though of anything else? you know, different to the name of the Club publication?

Our show is pathetic.

I mentioned this a little while ago in a thread, and it does disapoint me a lot.

Especially when you See Saint Kildas, Richmonds and the Kangaroos (they had Jerry O'Connell on theres a few weeks ago) which are all very good.

We need to have a current player doing ours to have any effect.

I understand, but it ain't fair dammit, and thats no reason for such a ****ty show. In WA they get a lot of exposure, but here in melbourne its not quite the same, as I'm sure you could imagine.. damn them, a little effort wouldnt go astray..

The Eagles show is good when u compare it to some of the other lame shows the other clubs do... I mean Essendons is laughable... a footballer in the kitchen cracking jokes about kitchen utensils... At least the Eagles look players are professional and don't make idiots of themselves

I guess it's a matter of opinion. I quite like it. I think Langdon does a good job and they interview past players, which is always interesting. I notice that they play it at Subi about half an hour before bouncedown at home games.

I don't watch the shows unless for 5 minutes by accident. But I do have Foxtel, so get short excerpts from the other shows to entice me to watch. Wellman in the kitchen is a shocker. Dragocevic from Richmond dressed up like the "I 'ave come to clean ze pool"guy in the garden is worse.

I love humourous shows, but the chances of an AFL footballer being consistently funny in a weekly show about their club is about zero.

So, huzzah for Karl!!!!!
