Does anyone rate The Eagles? I'm reading Don Felder's book at the moment and it makes me wanna go out and buy some Eagles CDs! They really were a great band.

Not only that, but who knew that the theme from HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy is an Eagles track??? That just blew me away, I've always liked the Hitchhiker's theme.

LOL I saw that film for the first time last week. BTW if anyone does read the book, whenever Glenn Frey is mentioned just picture Ben Stiller (with handlebar mustache) playing him and the whole thing becomes hilarious.

I just watched that today. Awesome stuff. They are a lot better live than studio, in my opinion.

Don't rate the solo on Hotel California?

I do agree that their sound is generally lame, but they have a handful of good songs, and Joe Walsh's guitar work is top notch. if it wasn't for him then they'd be really really lame.
