... at last year member’s forum that he’d look into hosting the viewing of interstate games at the Holden Centre.

There seemed to be considerable interest from the members.

Ed mentioned that he wouldn’t be able to just rock by and unlock the doors for us, it would need to be paid for - and that seemed to be generally accepted.

It was also generally accepted that selling $50 hamburgers wasn’t the way to go about it either (that was the last attempt and apparently nobody showed up)

Ed said one of the conditions would be that folks would have to register for it online (and assume pay for it online) and that seemed to be generally accepted.

I haven’t seen any progress with this - but I wouldn’t because I live in Sydney so I don’t really have a dog in this fight. But as an interstate supporter I do know what it is like to watch games on TV at the pub with other passionate Collingwood supporters and it can be a good atmosphere.

Just wondering if anybody has heard any more about this? Is the club hosting something at the Holden Centre for the Adelaide game?

What time tomorrow night?
Come around at 7pm. I’ll try and have the wife and kids tucked away in the East wing of the house. We can retire to my man cave...

I’d rather sit on my couch with a fridge full of IPAs.

I have a fridge full of Young Henry's Newtowner. It is pure and well balanced, like a nun on a tightrope. Think I will crack one or two right now.

Will Hawkers West Coast IPA do? I’ll likely still be on the couch in the morning.

That will do just fine. We can finish with a Pirate Life Imperial IPA. An Adelaide beer to toast our victory or drown our sorrows.

Prefer at home but if it were a finals match, certainly would go and pay.

Had 4 of the IIPA’s last Friday night. My golf the next morning was not good.

Like what?

Like the time he dressed up in a silver sequinned suit, top hat, and cane, and sang “Dance dance dance like it’s 2010”?
