Line ball, but the Bankers are a tough opponent at home. Bunyip lacking a killer edge this year. Would tip a draw if I could.

Koo-Wee-Rup v Nar Nar Goon
Goon had by far the best crop of youngsters last year, full of running and with the added toughness of some recruits are now a formidable line up. Will last a lot longer this year than last. Almost certain finalists for mine.

Nilma-Darnum v Catani
I'm tipping an upset, Catani's older players may fast run out of legs and if Nilma can stop the Catani forward line, they are a massive show. If I had to bet my house, i'd probably pick Catani, but I don't.

Poowong v Nyora
Demon Cup as well as some local school reunions will make this a blockbuster clash and will be a hotly contested local derby.

Lang Lang v Cora Lynn
A lot of hot air on here hasn't been reflected on the field. Cora Lynn may let this one slip. I wouldn't be surprised if Lang Lang jumped them at the start, but I think Cora Lynn will get over them in the end. Is this the clash which saw a draw last year?

Probably more to do with nobody liking the coach or new high-priced recruit.

There's a big problem recruiting and paying guys who genuinely believe that they are doing the club a favour by playing there, when it should be the other way around.

Will be a close, hard game, always is between the two. They were one game a piece last year.
 
Clubs need to be real careful when choosing who they recruit. You really want to be recruiting guys who will get along with the playing group as well being able to play good football.
 
They have about 3 or 4 decent players out, which is why they are struggling. Dont have much depth to cover them.

Id be suprised if they got belted again though. First game at home they might give Nyora a good run for their money.
