Good question, stamp.
Been a long time since I have seen it in that condition.
The juniors had the best of it yesterday.
Then 3 hard fought games to round out the day have pretty much destroyed it. I spose, as long as there is grass out there, under the mud, it will pull up ok.
The club would probably have preferred to have had one of the later finals, ie Semi or Prelim, as we have in past years. It sort of gets you into spring and some warmer, sunnier weather that allows the ground to dry out and the grass to grow.
We need Koo Wee to have a cracker in the magoos next week and to have a good day at Poowong ourselves and we can get into fifth and have a home final. In those conditions I would back us against anyone.
It should recover pretty well though.
