I found out about this composer because Frank Zappa,one of my inspirations in music,loved his work and Ionisation,a piece by Edgar Varese, was the first record he bought and listened to on his mum's old gramophone.

Very abstract but very interesting.

I went and checked some out on youtube. Pretty ****en average, it sounds like a 70's japanese avant garde stoner group. Of the tubes i listened to, Integrales was alright but probably because it was the most normal. Some of this music sounds like James Horner scores, maybe Horner is a fan
 
I posted some of his youtubes in the electronica music thread because his name is associated as the inspiration for electronic music . Pretty sure frank Zappa loved his music too.
