What I took from that photo was 'sheesh he's built for a 197cm bloke'.Not as tall as I'd imagined.
Cheers.
He was 'rested' late 2010 because he strained his medial ligament. This is the knee injury he has just recovered from.I'd say the majority of footballers who've played more than a couple of games would be constantly managing something or other.
Zaha had a groin late in 2009, I assume that was why he was rested late 2010 as well and I assume it's the same this year.
Managing workload as much as anything.

From the video on BomberTV discussing Tayte Pears injury, Gumbleton looks more solid.
Have you seen the interview from
Hird to Ryder? I reckon paddy has even put a bit more on!
#### thats funny that clip. Hirdy had fun grilling Paddy with some 'hard' questions.
Paddy does look like he has put on some muscle for sure..says he's heaps fitter than last year.
If thats the case, dunno what Knights and his band of merry men were doing with him last season..

So we have lock-out practice matches...anyone know when open training sessions will start up again?
If that's not a throw away line by Paddy, Cormack has some explaining to do. Why in the hell is Paddy heaps fitter than last year?
Could be any number of reasons:
Had a better run at pre-season.
Had a better base having been in the system a bit longer
Hated the coach and stopped trying....
Was lazy over last few pre-seasons
Reached a stage in his life where his body had matured to be able to cope with increased work loads.
Hard to argue that he looks like he's put a bit more bulk on over the pre-season which was not noticeable in any other pre-season.
I reckon he will have a HUGE season this year and start stepping up from potential, to star.
Because there's a whole heap more pushing this year.If that's not a throw away line by Paddy, Cormack has some explaining to do. Why in the hell is Paddy heaps fitter than last year?
