For those not on Instagram following these two they have what I feel is a little bit of man love for each other. As recent as today they posted a photo together doing a boxing session (with Mrs Cotch). As much as this shows the leadership of Cotch taking the younger player under his wing it excites me more that Ellis has taken the necessary steps to learn of the man himself.

Ellis is my favourite player, everything he says and does is just pure commitment and quality. IMO he is the successor to Cotchin as the captain, when Cotch gets to that stage where older players decide to pass the baton and focus on their own game, Ellis would be a great replacement.

Ellis, just make sure you work your legs and chest to make sure they match the growth in your chest. I dont want to look at another mcguane build .

If Ellis builds up like it seems he will, he will hurt a few next year in tackles

Really loving our drafting these last few seasons. Drafting players with good skills but (arguably) more importantly, the right mindset/character is really paying dividends.

Ellis has always been bigger than Cotch, Cotch isn't big at all. He was bigger when he was first drafted than now, hence why he's stated that he's going to be bulking up this preseason.
