Ellis, Nahas, Tuck, McGuane bleeding for Y&B

I know there is more but in those final 5 minutes these guys went into contests 100% head first for this club. Huge respect for these blokes all in different phases of their career but to be out there playing in what was a mini final and just never giving in was fantastic to see.

Ellis was close to our best in the last I thought the kid is going to be something.

Ellis was fantastic show so much maturity in his first year ... EXAMPLE like 2 or 3 times were he had to beat a much more mature North player (wells i think) he did and took solid marks .. its just when he gives it of the player who he gives it too messes it up making him look bad ..

if he had kicked that goal it would have been nuts... i hope he runs with Lids during the pre season and works on his goal kicking and run and carry he will be A grader for sure

yes but hope he learns to keep his feet better.

I agree with Robbie. Seems to slip over a few times when he tries to sidestep, due to his poor left foot. I'm surprised teams aren't catching on that if you corral him to the left, he is going to goose step and swing onto his right.

Never rated McGoof but actually played ok yesterday I thought, which for him is very good.

Still think he should be gone at season's end however. Best thing about him playing is it might give him some trade value, albeit minimal, instead of a straight out delisting. Probably a token Morton type low pick deal at best, though we might actually use it this year given the allegedly deeper draft.

Agree though most players in 2012 are feeling the love for the club ( Connors was an exception)
