Wow. Had no idea he had another album so quickly.

I must admit I really like that track. So catchy.

nice to see he goes at himself over his last album

"and to the fans, ill never let you down again, im back, i promise to never go back on that promise, in fact lets be honest, that last relapse cd, was errrr, perhaps i ran those accients in to the ground, relax i aint going back to that now!"

Good track, really seems like he felt he let the fans down.

just a quick piece of info about em i didnt know, he is the legal guardian of three people, one, his daughter hallie, two, lanie his adopted daughter(niece), and three, his half brother nathan.

and going by one of his tracks off of relapse he also mentions whittney, another child of kims.

Damn he's back. He thought the Relapse was meh, i didn't mind it to be honest (still consider The Eminem Show his best work) nothing but dre beats was good and i do like his silly stuff. When he gets serious though like on this song, hes on another level than any other rapper

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is gaining more notoriety, this time, thanks to rapper Eminem.
In a new song, the rapper refers to a 20-year-old Georgia college student’s accusation that Roethlisberger sexually assaulted her in a night club bathroom last month. Roethlisberger wasn't charged in the case, but that didn't stop Eminem from adding a line to one of his songs.
Eminem’s song lyrics include, "I'd rather turn this club into a bar room brawl. Get as rowdy as Roethlisberger in a bathroom stall."
Despite no charges being filed, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Roethlisberger for four to six games.
Roethlisberger has apologized for his behavior and said he will not appeal the suspension.

eminem show is far from his best work.

i actually thought relapse was very very close to his best. and i thought he was pretty happy with it too, surprised by that admission

this track, not the greatest but definately a very positive sign, album should be good

surely jest?

not at all. yes the topics were a little weird and that accent got annoying but the flow was flawless, the beats were great, some songs were classing like de ja vu which raised the albums standards

i couldnt name a best album from him

lyrically, its infinite and sllp
maturity and song writing, its mmlp
overall, its his tracks on 8 mile unfortunately he only had 3.. but those three are some of his best songs ever
and flow wise, its relapse

lets hope the new album brings all elements together, although this new song doest display the ridicolous lyricism and multis he used to be known for

Don't understand all the hype about eminem post marshall mathers show apart from a few songs on the 8 mile soundtrack. His punchlines aren't that great and I didn't think his flow was too crash hot on this song. Was still ok 5.5/10.

5.5?

What is the benchmark for a 10?

benchmark for em? amityville imo.

yeah. agree. it's alright. not something i'd listen to regularly, like his earlier stuff, but not something i'd turn off if it came on the radio, like some of his later stuff.

amityville .. great track but i'd go with his 2 verses on renegade or .. rabbit run. or any of his diss tracks, thats when he's at his most ferocious.. nail in the coffin or bully

but lyrically this track deserves higher than a 5.5. he had some nice lines, its nice to see him going back to more use of metaphores and wordplay

"Like a F*@k you for christmas, his gift is a curse"

"F**k your feelings(fillings), instead of gettin crowned you gettin capped"

"Time to exorcise (exercise) them demons, them bitches doin jumping jacks now"

Quit playin with scissors and shit, and cut the crap..

And the line that preceded the capped line about being a king...

some nice ones. admittedly some misses too, like where he spoke of raising the roof like his daughters and raising the bar...was one of the lamer ones...

like, i'll admit a lot of them are a weird, embellished 1+1 wordplay. Almost T.I.-esque. But honestly, I stopped expecting dude to reinvent the wheel. He's just a dude makin some music. The track is nice, and a step in the right direction, especially considering the last several features. There weren't even any fart jokes. That's a win right there.

To be honest em has a lot of hard work to do to gain the support of the black community back. No one calls Kim Kardashian a man, No one!!!

It's amazing how this song isn't his best, but it far exceeds anything most rappers can do. Wait for his proper single, this is just a sign of what sort of Album Recovery is.
