Can't believe there isn't a thread on this already but this album is ****ing great. For those that don't know it's the new Megadeth album which was released earlier this week. Download it and if you like it buy it! Here's my favourite song off of it:

For those that already have it, what do you think about it? How do you rate it compared to their older albums or other albums released this year?

I'm actually listening to it at the moment.

44 minutes is the best song at the moment, Bodies is another good one.

To be honest I listened to it start to finish and nothing stood out to me at all.

But I will give it another listen.

****ing fantastic album, right up there with RIP and CTE IMO.

Really is disappointing that this board seemingly has no Megs fans. They treat Australian fans so well yet they seem to have a rathersmall following over here. Most people I know that are going to S/M in October are going for Slayer.

Seriously though, Endgame is one of 2009's best. If you like thrash metal, look no further. This isn't a false return to form like Death Magnetic was. This is truly Megadeth at their best.

I gotta admit, even though Metallica are my favourite band and I listen to about an album a day by them, Endgame definitely blows Death Magnetic right out of the water. Can't wait to see them October 11th!

Endgame isn't even as good as you make it out to be.

Have had a few weeks to digest this album and yes, its a very, very good piece of work. One of the thrash highlights of the year - new Artillery and Evile may prove to be the others. IMO, more impressive than either Formation of Damnation or Death Magnetic.
