Last WC score is meaningless now. India was the best team this WC and lost it to NZ with a 3 match losing streak coming into the SF!

The other issue is that we don’t want to add too many new players because this could unsettle the team balance and could affect the performance of the other batters/bowlers.
If I knew the forecast going to be rainy , NZ would be the last team I would want to play in England.
Their bowlers thrive in the sorts of conditions where the ball will move through the air.
Boult's hat-trick vs us in the group stages shows the danger, even though it was in the last over.
Dry deck, would much rather play NZ than take on the Indian or English batsmen in a runfest.
Why? Barely made a run the whole tournament and bats at 5.
