Good-o. You don't have to believe me, but you still shouldn't slag people off without knowing all the facts.

As it is, all you've done is speculate his reasons for leaving and then run your mouth off about him.

Have a little class.
My mate is family friends with him sent me a text only wants to play for Brisbane but shit like that don't see the point of putting up because I don't believe it when others say it so why should they believe me. Going to Brisbane lets him be near his dad and brother and get more money it for him is a win win win. Look people go through shit times in their life but that is life 2 of my mates mums died of cancer I know how hard it can be. He is the second best player at our club we stood by him when he needed us to, fair enough he wants to move to be with his dad but he should be more open the the gold coast and less focused on the cash Brisbane have offered.

He has more than one motive with this move. If he was a truly good bloke he would be happy at either QLD club he would not tell the club he will not go to the Suns limiting what we can get in return. Would it not make more sense to be on the Gold Coast as that is where his dad lives? He could buy the joint next door to him. I feel for Beams's situation that he is in but there is more than one reason for the move
Can you talk to your recruiting mates at Brisbane and the Suns please?

Was this the same mate who assured you Beams was never leaving?
Circumstances changed drastically in the last 10 days. They thought his old man was in remission but the he had a check up and the prognosis changed for the worse.

Maybe one of his dads wishes, was to see both his boys playing afl together, in the same side........
Who cares?! We are not in the business of fulfilling the life dreams of the terminally ill (which at this stage his father is not). Collingwood Football Club is not a wish foundation - unless it delivers supporters a premiership.
