England V Turkey

I had a little investment on England, even though I know little about soccer. What chance are they of beating Turkey?

I support England but reckon Turkey will win.

Turkey is a good team, with players like Hakan Sukur, Emre, Okan, Alpay, Rutsu etc They also came third in the World Cup.
It's their home game in Istanbul, which gives them heaps of home ground advantage.
Owen is included in the squad but remains doubtful because of injury.
Their key defender in Rio Ferdinand is controversially dropped by the FA, and it probably affects other players and their overall preparation
Campbell also has to face a disciplinary hearing...

That's all i know.

Suker and Owen will both not be playing.

Terry is in good form for Cashski and a good replacement for Rio.

I reckon 1:1 is on the cards with Scholes finally scoring for the poms...

Who cares - I hope they beat the living cr@p out of each other.

Ireland v Switzerland is the game I'll be keeping tabs on. Ireland have always been my 2nd team, but I have Swiss heritage as well. Should be a very interesting match, with Russia in the equation as well as they have such a young squad.

That is a ridiculous scoreline.

I reckon England just might get a spanking by the rising power in European football.
