I agree but not in a negative way towards Carlton.

I like Carlton alot and have high expectations for them in 08 like most you here but its better to keep things people don't like to hear to your main board its much more professional and keeps other teams guessing.

Example of threads i dont like to see about Carlton is.

*Judd to win the brownlow

*Murphy to tear teams apart

*Carlton to make top 4

These things might actually happen but its better to keep these sought of opinions to the Carlton boards.

Why can't there be threads on the main board designated for serious discussion only, and then anyone acting like a ******** gets an automatic infraction? I wouldn't expect a "Serious Carlton topic" to get much traffic, but at least all the bullshit that is normally reserved for Bay 13 can be avoided and we might actually be able to have some adult discussion with supporters from other clubs.

I also have to ask, are there different rules on the main board about how people can talk to Carlton supporters?

I agree with this post. Apparently the main board rules only apply for the first 3 posts in any thread, then that thread can be completely hijacked with 2000 posts by people bagging opposition clubs. Actually, thats not true, considering at least 50% of main board threads start out bagging other clubs. Any thread with serious discussion gets 3-4 replies, and rapidly ends up on page 26 behind 15 other threads titled 'why Carlton are crap'

I agree, some of the threads started of late have just been open for duck season...we all know that people hate Carlton, so why give them the chance to shot us down.

RFC fans are tools and we don;t need to give them our time, if you want to argue with them they have one thread on the RFC board that is dedicated to round one, it is a laugh and there is plenty of fishing available for those who want some fun. I must say i have entertained myself on fishing for RFC fish willing to bite, something has to be done in the preseason.

They are such tools!!!

I actually quite enjoy crossing swords with those Tigger trolling tragics who stick their noses into our business. Easy pickings themselves and their club. Last time i visited their board i so embarrassed their silly arguments that their mods gave me a 'warning'. Upon discussion via PM, it became clear that i got the warning for no other reason than effectively - and whilst infringing no forum rules - dismantling their childish anti-carlton biases.

We only go over onto the opposition boards to counter troll... and they are a bunch of whiney little shits when we do.

They love creating their dummy accounts, that they know will get red carded, just so they can come in here and anonymously troll us.

But... do we really care? I know that I dont because the future for the Carlton Football Club is looking a lot better than the future for some of those other clubs.

There were fewer Carlton supporters back then and only a very few of us had to fly the flag against the opposition. And no Bay 13.
