Im getting so sick of ND and everyone else saying They are really proud of the boys how they stuck out the game and never gave in.. Maybe it was ok the first time we dugg ourselves out of a hole and went down by a goal or 2...This has been the case one too many times this season.. Near enough is NOT good enough!!!

Good call. I completely agree with you. Footy is all about the 4 points, and if you don't pick them up you haven't really achieved. All the last half fightbacks are doing is helping our percentage and stopping the players copping a real wake up call which is probably what they need. Certainly this 6 or 7 goal behind situation is not good enough at all.

I agree, the starts have not been good enough. However, the Melbourne of old would have got flogged so at least they did fight back, but it is not acceptable to be in such a position.

Yes, I also have to agree. Too often this season we have given sides a start, then have had to claw our way back into it. It has really only worked against the Lions, but it was a hell of a comeback.

Id like to see us be in it a qurater time then play like we normally do after that. We would go alright! :D

It's the AFL's fault. They need to use a louder opening siren! Or maybe our players go out onto the ground with cotton wool in their ears. OR, it's got something to do with the noise from the crowd. Maybe the umpires need to adopt the "Quiet please" attitude of tennis umpires.

I thought that applied to most Melbourne supporters.

And that's a shame. They need to sit in the outer and get into it, put a bit of heart into it!

lol... its not that... they're just asleep... SOMETIMES they wake up half way through the match and thats when we start to pick up... i think they need to understand that you gotta give it everything from the first bounce - not just when it looks bad for them.
i too agree what you all said.
