Because of the facts of the money spent over the journey. It's black and white. City have spend hundreds of millions of dollars more to keep there machine ticking over.

We have spent money but not enough to keep up. Simple really.

Because unlike other clubs we have never had a net spend of 550m over a 3 year period. That's going to be the sort of investment needed to remain competitive at the top against oil money. Nobody has ever claimed nothing has been spent either, that's a rubbish claim.
