once jj and campo are fit and when dyson has got his polish back i can't see kepler being our best 22.

laycock can also be added to that list

What we also have to remember is last year we were stretched in defence besides Fletcher.
Last year Keps was playing on the opposition's second best forward, pretty hard to do for a relitivly new player.
This year with Michael back there, it releases Bradley to play on the third tall, and Kep's proved last year he can do that.

Now Ryder is takin the third tall!

I simply look at it and say, well he wasnt much chop last year, that is a fact. There where a number of factor at work last year but overall he needed to do more. The circumstances have worked in his favour at the start of this year so he is in the side lets see how he goes in a new role for a bit. If his form says he shouldnt be in the side after 2 or 3 weeks and we are going badly then you do something about it.

We can argue all week, but this is the bottom line. No doubt he will be given more game time, and lets see if anything does indeed change.

On the "what has he done wrong" argument - doesnt matter, this isnt under 12's - what did he do? Again, he exerted minimal influence on the game. We should be endevouring to get better. The thing is, it is got to the point where a non mistake ridden game from him is nearly applauded.

Also, I havnt wiped nor continually bag him - I actually think he is one guy who could really develop if sent back to the 2's. I may be wrong, but to me, from the outside, he doesnt seem to have any confidense or real belief in his ability at all. He rarely backs himself - with his skill (seldom goes back and really kicks through the ball) as well as attacking the ball at height, which should be his strength.

I personally dont think there is a spot for him. You do. Let's leave it at that, and see what the coming weeks show us.

he would dominate the vfl

that would improve his confidence which would result in better performance in future years

Whilst I don't think Kep played all that badly on the weekend and I wouldn't drop him for Round 2, I don't think a run for Bendigo would be all that bad for Kepler. I feel that at AFL level Kep is very stretched to win his position on the ground and we don't really see what he can bring to the team. If he was sent down to Bendigo where he would most likely win his position, I think we could gain a good grasp of his best position as we could see the position he can potentially exert most influence on the game. This way, we know exactly what type of player he is and we will know whether to completely give up on at CHB or pursue it further or if he is well suited to a wing or a forward flank. I think Kep really needs to play on someone he can beat to find out what type of player he is and Bendigo is the place that that can happen.

In all honesty, Bradley was not all that bad on the weekend. We had worse players. I'd love to see no changes, it means we have a functional team. But I think Dyson should be included, especially against a team who isn't all that quick.

I Can't believe all this negative reaction over Bradley's game. There are no glaring errors that he made that stick in my mind, where some other players errors seemed more blatant and more crucial.

Fair enough i think we have both gone as far as we can with this:)
I do want to comment on his kicking style and that is what you see is what you get. You can watch him at training kicking the footy and it doesnt look like he is kicking through the ball but he can still kick it 50 meters easily.Because he moves like a giraffe it makes everything he does look akward.
