16 is very relevant...

16 was the age of Matthew Lloyd when Fremantle gave Essendon compensation selection one to recruit him in return for the superstar that was Todd Ridley.

16 seasons later and Fremantle still haven't got a premiership, and really haven't come close to winning one whilst Lloyd won multiple All Australian selections, Coleman medals, Essendon captaincy, kicked 926 goals and was a key in the 2000 premiership.
