Essendon Update:

We are welcoming young Brisbane Full Forward/Ruckman Daniel Merret to Windy Hill. But we're one person comes in, another leaves as we say goodbye to Danny Jacobs.

In other news we are looking into a change in our nickname. "Bombers is becoming way too old, we need to liven it up a bit" said the new CEO of Essendon. Spitfires, the 747's and Jets have all been brought up as suitable replacements. More on that next week.

And moving onto actual games, A practice match at Windy Hill will be occuring in the not to distant future between Essendon and Geelong. When AFL and Brisbane Executive Ryan Reynolds approves the match we will know a date.

The appeal to get the forfeit overturned was denied and Essendon have fallen out of the pre-season cup. Matches against Geelong and Richmond are in store for the near future and be sure to get down to Windy Hill and cheer on Essendon.

In other club related news, CEO Kapow!!! went down to Parliament house and had plans for upgrades to Windy Hill. We are yet to hear whether they have been approved or denied.

Welcome to the Essendon Bulletin:

Well, it's official, we will now be known as the Essendon Jets. Due to popular vote at training (well, the pub anyway) it was decided that we will be known as the Essendon Jets.

In the practise match on the weekend, the Jets got up by 25 points with James Hird bagging 7 goals. 10,000 people turned up to Windy Hill for this match and weren't let down in a sensational game of footy in which the Jets just blue the cats away in the final quarter. Aslan...Ozgur Aslan is the name i will be taking over this giant of a club after the departure of Tangas, I will be always highly interested in what is goin on in this game and will not be fooled into "newbie" trades. The departures will stop from here on end, i will make this club proud and stong once again.
