Essendon fans are the biggest flogs in the AFL

Has anyone noticed the way Essenscum flogs over-rate their own more than any football club in the AFL by a country mile.

I mean they think Jobe Watson is a top 20 player when in reality he's slow, can't kick and has terrible decision making.

They are hell-bent on believing that Michael Hurley after one good game is an out and out superstar. When we all know the guy is a flash in the pan and an out an out criminal.

The scum all seem to think Scott " 2 posies" Fumbleton is the next Buddy Franklin and the saviour of the EFC.

The flogs all rave on and on how that front runner Stanton is an elite midfielder. Speaking of front runners Scott Lucas was the ultimate front running flog wasn't he?

And just to top things off, they are re-naming the Coventry end for Essendon home games after a two-bit, diving, cheating, nancy boy, pretender full forward in Matthew Lloyd.

**** Monfries destoyed Luke "the only loose man in grand final history to win a Norm Smith" Hodge in that game. Shows how vulnerable Hodge is when made accountable in defence.

Maybe that's why Big Gay Al is playing in him the midfield in '10.

You have to remember you won a large chunk of those games pre 1960. The H.F.C were struggling for their first 30 odd years of VFL football and I will acknowledge that fact. We were awful. Since 1960 the ledger would be closer to square as we have been statistically the best team of the last 50 years with 10 flags and a super win loss regular season record.

To the GF point. Yes you beat us in 84-85 but you have to remember we played 7 GFs in a row and won 4 in the 80s so we were no doubt the standout side of that era. Infact a team playing 7 GFs in a row will most likely never happen again. So you could argue that H.F.C team was the greatest side of all time.

Lets face facts. We won a flag in 08 and will go close to winning another one in the next 2 or 3 years. Whereas your beloved E.F.C will struggle to make the 8 this year.

With Jobe Watson leading your midfield and Angus Monfries your most prolific forward you wont just struggle to make the 8 but you will struggle to win 8 games this season

Oh believe me there is nothing to worry about from a Hawthorn perspective. Matthew Knights and the coaching staff seem just about as deluded as the fans

As much as I dont like the Bombers being a hawks supporter I do think that they are on the right track with there team, they are very quick and have some very impressive tall defenders in pears and hooker, also if hurley keeps improving and plays upfront they will end up with a good spine, as for thier midfield its OK but just lacks the class of the top teams, stanton is better than I thought and watson is a top ball winner but the others are only B graders. so all in all they will unfortunately probably hold thier spot in the lower half of the top 8, hopefully the hawks get a crack at them in september
because our best team is still way ahead of them and we need to pay them back for last year.
