Atleast you're able to watch it. Ive only got the radio. If it's that bad then just put the tv on mute and have MMM going for the commentary

I agree I hate fox commentary its so crap I prefer listening to the umpires!

Yeah it was pretty bad. They obviously all wanted to see the under dog get up and did a bad job trying to hide it.

Especially in the last qtr. The difference in the enthusiasm to goals kicked by each side was bloody obvious. Call the game, don't barrack.
I wanted to listen to MMM and have the tv on mute, but I found that the commentary was 5-10 seconds ahead of tv. And when I tried listening on the net it was 5-10 seconds behind the tv.
That was so annoying. He sounded like Maria Sharapova.

No spark, no insight and no elevation of the game in any way.
Typical of the casters today.
Many footballers were devoid of PERSONALITY before and ......certainly after. Networks get sold by managers especially for these blokes
Even prefer SEN's on the radio. The Ox .?? At least you usually have Kb or another to balance the idiocy of past footballers commentating. Odd

If only there was an option on tv to change the commentary. I'd have it on triple m all the time. There's is the best. Bristle is awesome.

Commentators always barrack for the underdogs, who cares..
It was really bad. They even were talking up Melbourne players efforts when it was Essendon that won the contest. They would actually praise a player beaten for the ball for his endevour, rather than praisng the Essendon player for his efforts to win the ball. I actually picked up the FOXTEL guide and considered making a complaint. They got me that angry.
What was funny was the young Melbourne comments all game.
Then Shaw realised he better also add Essendon are young, cause up until then, it wa like we were the experienced team which is funny given our youth. Will accept Melbourne has lost more senior players, but not by as much as they made out.

Just walked in from work as the game started unfortunately. Otherwise I would have been there.
