Scott Sunderland is the team owner i think so id say Sky def

He would be smart enough to make the team good enough for Cadel since he was Riis's understudy for a while

It's definately BMC and that is sensational management from the team.

One way to get invited to the tour, have the rainbow jersey. They will reap the rewards.

It's been leaked that it's BMC and I have my sources that say it's BMC too.

Mark my words, he's at BMC.

If he goes to BMC they have a pretty good core of riders to support him I guess, but just how much better will they be for him than Silence?

I suppose they won't have the Belgian classic focus that is necessary for Silence so that will help when choosing the riders to go on their roster.

That's a decent enough team for him to better compete at the Tour I'd say, especially with the likes of Burghardt if they do support him.

As stormee said, at least BMC won't be focused on the Northern Classics, although it'll be interesting to see what BMC focuses on.

There is only one reason why BMC got him.

With the rainbow jersey they have a better chance of getting access to the marquee races. Hence the TDF will have them as one of the wildcards at the expense of maybe Skil Shimano.

BMC have other strong riders too.

Why the hell would Evans be going to a team not assured of a Tour spot?

What would the HUN know about cycling?!

He will go to BMC, the director is a former member of the ASO (owners of Le Tour) and they will get invites to all the big races despite being a proc conti team. However i still think he would be better going to Garmin but it depends on what the frouit loop Wiggins decides to do re Sky.

Win-win then.

If they get Cancellara as per Blackcat suggestion 2011 they will have some interesting tactical options too.

I'll expect Lloyd to follow CE over (have heard he is considering various offers)
And would like to see Wesley Sulzberger there too in due course.

A traditional one day classics rider who used to be regarded as an up and coming sprinter. Certainly far from a good climber.

Precisely my thinking. You'd think Cadel would be a big draw card for a lot of these kind of blokes, whether he is a bit of a dick head or not. He is still the current World Champ and a two time runner-up in the TDF.

And whilst he does seem like a bit of a knob at times in the end of season classics I think he really showed another side when he supported Gilbert to a tee - perhaps finally winning a significant race has taken away some of the frustration he was previously feeling (just a thought). I wouldn't worry - I'm sure there will be quality climbers to support him.

Even if there is some promise of bringing in help, it's no guarantee. Hopefully BMC doesn't have the same luck/selection committee as Lotto because i believe Cadel was promised riders after signing his last contract, that didn't turned out too well.

Does BMC have a bigger budget than Lotto? They would wouldn't they?
