Why do we never seem to get one striker per defender when we're pushing forward yet other teams do regularly against us. Desperately need to get ourselves a skilled mid.

Jelavic has just completely gone off the boil. Anichebe showed more in his 1st minute on the field than Jelavic has in a month of Prem games.

We will look 10 times the side we are when Mirallas is starting ahead of Naismith. After that 1st half we will take a point because we were an absolute disgrace.

Because we don't spend any money, even though we have literally 10 times less debt than Man U and it shits me up the wall. With a Michu or a Sturridge we would easily be a top 2 team.

Jelavic is just completely out of touch. We hoped when he got that goal against Spurs he would get on a run and it did not happen. We thought the goal in the last FA cup game would give him some confidence but it has not. Anichebe at the moment is offering a lot more on the field.

Vellios did not even make the squad tonight, but maybe he deserves a chance if we are not going to bring anyone in during the transfer window.

Unfortunately I agree, with the addition of Sturridge they are incredibly potent forward of centre, quick unpredictable. AKA Exactly what we need.

Should started with Sturridge though, United were bullying Suarez with three defenders everytime he went near the ball and Sterling was no where to be seen. Sturridge came on and was dangerous straight away, spread the defence and Liverpool probably were unlucky to not come away with a point.
